Skipper in Charge: Urs Rathgeb
Charter Boat Name: Blue Horizon
This will be a hands-on Practice Sail:- Basics of Sail Trim for jib and main sail under different points of sail (how do I read the tell-tales and make adjustments?) - Helming under different points of sail. - Why is the position of Jib cars important? - Moving the traveler vs. trimming/easing the main sail.
Of course we will take breaks and enjoy time on the water (and not stress ourselves out), but expect this to be an "active" sail.
All registrations must be made by 5:00 PM Tuesday for the Saturday sail to comply with WSV cancellation policy.
All registrants will be contacted by Friday before the sail by the skipper.
Please check the Skipper Directory for contact information if you need to reach the skipper regarding the sail.
On-board: 1:00PM (departs @ 1:30 PM) back by sunset, but the skipper may adjust times for weather and conditions.
Check TASS online calendar for weekly meetings & events.
Members and Non-members/New Guests are welcome; no previous sailing experience is required.
