11:00am – 12 Noon – Tour NWS Center

12 Noon – Casual Lunch – location TBD following the conclusion of the tour – (optional)

Registration Required as we must give a head count to the NWS office.

Have you ever wondered what takes place at the National Weather Service Centers? As we live in the hurricane belt and we are sailors, weather is of great interest and curiosity to us all.

TASS has a unique opportunity curtesy of Josh Lichter of the NWS in Dickinson, to tour the local National Weather Service office. During the tour our guide will showcase the NWS decision support forecast services and provide weather safety education.

Caveat that any severe weather will postpone the tour to another day and all Registered Attendees will be notified.
